This course is an intensive 3-day workshop for compositors experienced with packages such as Shake, After Effects or Flame, but with only a basic knowledge of Nuke. The course covers the complete Nuke toolset, user interface and production workflow, and will leave attendees with a thorough understanding of the package.
This course is a must for compositors wishing to swiftly advance their understanding of the world's most powerful and fastest growing compositing software.
The instructor, Paul Kirwan, has over a decade's experience in compositing for feature film, including five years using Nuke as an artist and Compositing Supervisor at Digital Domain, the original creators of the software. He has worked on such films as ¨Titanic¨, ¨Transformers¨, ¨Pirates of the Caribbean¨ and the ¨Lord of the Rings¨ trilogy. He is an experienced educator and was the instructor of choice for Animal Logic when they switched to Nuke in 2008.
The course will be run from 7th to 9th December, 9:30am - 5pm, at the Australian National University, Canberra.
